My design style mixes playfulness and functionality. I value design with wit, a point of view, and attention to the finest detail. Creating a more beautiful world one kerned letter at a time is what drives my love of design.

After graduating magna cum laude from Western Michigan University, I became a staff designer at Right Hat, a national branding and design agency headquartered in Chicago. During my time at Right Hat I worked on hundreds of design projects spanning digital, print, and identity, for a wide range of clients, including professional service firms, non-profits and schools.

Ways to learn and grow as a designer are always on my radar and I am an active member of AIGA and attend educational events and conferences. I also have a healthy obsession with blues dancing, podcasts, and craft beer.
